About Me
In my younger years my interests gravitated toward metal work
About that time I purchased a 10" Atlas lathe and a Craftsman Drill Press which I still own today
In the Mid 80's I started collecting hit/miss gas engines which led to an interest in gas engine model building and by 1988 I started producing my own model casting kits
At that point the machine shop started to grow. A Bridgeport milling machine, surface grinder, band saw, a foundry, along with a variety of smaller machine tools and tooling were added
My latest machine tool being a 1945 Barber-Coleman #3 gear Hobber which will be completely torn down & reconditioned so I can make my model spur and helical gears
I enjoy attending hit/miss gas engine shows during the summer and always attend the cabin fever winter show
see you at the show (Bob)
